Lake Chelan, WA is hosting the first annual Alaska Airlines Trax Rail Jam presented by Mission Ridge February 18th -19th 2012. With a $4,000 cash purse on the line, athletes throughout the northwest are sure to be throwing down on the two gnarly features on the Galvanic structure.

Each day will consist of a 3-heat battle to the finals concluding with a 40-minute jam format finals. Saturday the 18th will be the ski competition and Sunday the 19th will be the snowboard competition.

They seriously expect to compete with that Snoqualmie event? Two small features in some out of the way place vs a crazy ass street course...
 
this, seriously the worst fucking time to have it, anyone who is actually any good will be at snoqualmie, hell i live in wenatchee and won't be going
 
I was hoping all week to get a ride out to Snoqualmie to peep the jump. And even just watch. But never found one. Soooo look who just submitted for this jam :)
 
same for snoqualmie, and a hell of a lot more fun. Though I guess you could just mosey on over and win with a front swap.
