Just a quick question, I am making a ladder drop in this year and I have no idea what material i should use to cover the rungs. Pvc rollers, construction fence or what?

thanks +k

Indoor/outdoor carpet would be the best. Just cut it into strips and attach it. PVC works good, but not great. Any mud on your skis or grass and it really sticks. Construction fence would kinda work, but probably not be the greatest. I'd go with the indoor/outdoor carpet.

Waxing it helps to eliminate that. Same with your rail. A little warm weather wax makes it slide really consistent.

I would try to use a different dropin al together, buit its up to you. if you wanted something more sturdy and longer lasting, just spend the extra 20-50$ and invest on some wood, and yuo probibly have some lying around your house anyway. but if you think ladder is the way to go, deffinetly try indoor/outdoor carpet. Look for threads on making dropins too, thatll help

check out mine, just made a thread about it recently. i used pvc and drilled them into a 2x4, and had an astroturf trasition

I used the ladder method on the top part of my drop in and it works great. I used outdoor carpet/turf and the speed is perfect for me. Im sure rollers would work really well also. Just depends on what you got laying around or what you can find for free.

I may make a ladder drop in and make it portable for Urban too, Pics of someones would be nice! +K
