Indoor lacrosse starts its season/session sunday. Im happy. I got a new Virgina lacrosse hat too. for free. Good times for me.

 
Oh ya, who else plays lacrosse? where do you play and what position/level?

Vermont, defense, Tryin out for varsity this year after two years on the injured list (blown out knee).

 
i play for my school..Catholic Central...in grand rapids...and with friends at an indoor field...i play midi...good times lacrosse...

it is for sure bigger on the east coast but starting to pick up over here, i know my college has one of the better club teams in the nation.

JD MAY I'm sorry to tell you, but Baltimore is the home of lacrosse right now. No doubt other areas produce many quality players. We have the championships, the best colleges by far. Upstate has Syracuse and Jersey has Princeston, Virginia has UVA, and there are other quality teams but not as many as here. The level on the youth scale is very competitive as well. When I played in the Youth Games as a kid we beat Long Island by about 10 and upstate by about 15. Bay State beat Empire by 20 points, and look at the under-19 team, they are all from here.

Yes... but it's the states. The home of lacrosse is north central Ontario. You think we're good a hockey up here, well... Lacrosse is Canada's national sport. Canucks are Unfuckingstoppable, and we will be as long as lacrosse exists. There are better and better players coming from the US, damn right, but to say that ANYWHERE south of the border is the home of lacrosse...um, no. It isn't. BC and Ontario, man, battling it out for undisputed lacrosse supremacy for like a century.

My dad was a BC champ in the 60s, played everybody, went on trips coast to coast... still has the pics and the tropphies and medals. He recognizes the sons of old players too... it's pretty sweet. Wish I'd taken up lacrosse more seriously, but I quit after a couple seasons for hockey.

 
I play in New Jersey, defensive middie, lacrosse is alot of fun, just knocking the shit out of people, we start march 3 i think officially.
