I know there has to be a few of you out there. I need help on a new d pole. Any suggestions? I need a strong head and shaft but I don't want something that weighs a lot. Any help would be much appreciated

I have a maverick shaft. Don't know what the model is but I love it and a surgeon head but I take faceoffs so if you play close d then get something more substantial

It would probably help to know your position but I am a goalie so I wont really have any advice anyway. Go with a wood shaft for ultimate style points though.

I have a DragonFly R60, its light as a feather and hasnt snapped or even bent in the two seasons ive used it. down side is it cost me $200

And for a strong head, either go with an xcalibur (the old ass STX one) because they're wide and stiff, or a Brine Clutch 2. I currently use the Clutch 2 and love it.

My current setups are:

2 STX Proton Us both with STX Scandium Pros and an STX Defender with a ScTi

Protons are sick, wide scoop for ground balls and stiff for solid poke checks, have used the defender yet tho.

not a defender, but get an stx hammer. It's pretty much a proton U with that c-channel shit so it's super stiff and rigid (which hurts like a bitch when you poke with it). as far as a shaft goes, who really cares? it's not going to make that big of a deal when it all comes down to it, and you're fairly unlikely to snap it. Just pick up a clearance pole at Dick's or something

and I am an idiot, sorry didn't read OP well enough, all I know is one of my D guys broke a maverick wonder boy just a few practices into a season

Mine has taken an absolute beating since I got it last season, I also played summer and winter league so it's quite used. Two other kids on my team both have two year old wonderboy's and they're still intact. Maybe he just hit a weak point in the shaft really hard and it just snapped? Who knows hahaha

Who knows, my defense was pretty hard on shafts and bent an inordinate amount so maybe he just got unlucky with that one.

I haven't used the hammer in a game situation but it's gonna be stiffer than the x10. I used x10s last season and they got warped really easily/would stay bent after a check.

The Hammer is supposed to stop that. It's stiff and it snaps back to its original shape quickly.

wrong. the worst thing you could say to a girl would not be that. itd be "hey girl i love the scent of your intestine i hope you squirm when i reach insideeeeeee"

Titan pro and Excalibur is the best set up I quitas season playing high school just the coaches at my school were strait fags so ya probably the best pole out there

hey, hey evan...FUCK YOU. but srsly, have you been back to tlf recently? It's shit now and practically a ghost town. Simple on here is the same simple from there if you hadn't figured it out haha

gait ice, I have wonderboy for attack, but then again I mainly use my alloy 6000 because that thing is actually sick if you tape it all the way up so it doesnt break as easily haha, also hurts more on checks, or just get a bamboo pole a lot of sites sell em now

double post, but whatever, wonderboys are sick but I have seen a lot snap super clean. It's great to watch, but be sure you get a warranty on it if you check a lot/ get checked a lot

Friend snapped a bamshaft first game he had it so I'm a little weary. I ended up getting the sci ti and I'm going to try waxed mesh

NINJA MESH NINJA MESH NINJA MESH. Seriously those guys are awesome, they've been hooking me up for 2 years and their products are top notch. THE PRICE IS WORTH IT. The difference really is noticeable, and it strings up really nice too. Definitely recommend!

What setups do you guys all have?

Gear:

Team CPXr

Reebok 9K shoulder pads (w/o bicep caps)

Reebok Black Arm Guards

Team STX K18 II gloves

Chromed out Nike Huarache 2 cleats

Stick:

Navy Stallion w/ stick doctor super mesh (essentially canadian)

True Temper Prototype composite shaft (epoch dragonfly proto)

Diggin the setup. I have team color cpxr the new low pro d slip on elbow pads stx stinger shoulder pads I cut everything off of and custom team colored king IV's. my stick is a sci ti stallion and stx hammer. I love the king gloves. This is my second pair and the cpxr is the most comfortable helmet I've ever worn

Schools Pro7

Cut down Warrior Players Club 6s

Brine LoPro Ds

Nike Vapor Elites

Nike Huarache 3

Stick quiver:

Hammer on a ScTi

2 x10s on Scandium Pros

Stallion on an OG hickory STX dpole

With this head (proton power)

Pretty sweet set up, used it for D and LSM

I've got an evo 2 on my wonder boy pole. Any thread that involves lacrosse invites so much hate...huhuhuhaaa lax bro huhuhuhaaa lax fags

I had a Kryptolyte before I used it for goalie I really liked it. Overall I think Warrior makes really good shafts.

Get a maverick wonderboy. Unless they have been discontinued. Lighter than a warrior chryptologht. As for heads, I always used warrior razrs but those have been discontinued. My college hooked us up with stx stuff and I only broke 3 in one season

If you're good at lacrosse and you are on a good lacrosse team, chicks hang from your balls. It's a fact.

I only know this from partying with my brother and his team for their four years of college, they won the college national championship this past season.
