Lacoste Polos

30 bucks is still a fucking rip off for a damn shirt, i could get one for like 10 bucks from a reasonably priced company

you can also tell by the stitching and the buttons and stuff but you'd have to see it in person but yea those ones are fake

internet is a powerful thing

the best and only way to tell if it is fake is the location of the crocodile logo. If it is in line with the bottom badge it is fake, if it is between middle and bottome badge it is geniune.

Well thank u for the help, but while I was out I went to Macy's and bought 3 real Lacoste shirts, and examined them, and what u said was right, the real shirt is made in France, and Peru. The buttons should be just Mother of Peral with nothing on it, the alligator, is kinda long and skinny compared to the fake one, which seems to be a we bit shorter and a we bit fat, there should only be 2 buttons, the aliigator has a short line for a eye, instead of a dot, and the mouth is kind of wider.

Plus, don't always rely on where the alligator is placed because on my fake ones, the alligator is in the right place, which is what had me, but now I know.

Basically there is no way to tell if they are real or not. Lacoste makes so many different styles that are subject to change that it is hard to know what is real in the first place. Lacoste will not say what makes a shirt real, because that would make it easier to make fake ones. The only way to know if these are real is to trust that they were actually purchased at Bloomingdales.

pretty much any nice golf course or any place in your city that sells designer shit... in my city (ottawa) there like harry rosen, schad, holt renfrew... any of those places... if you have them where you live will sell JL most likely

your talking out of your ass... lacoste actually teaches people at stores that sell there product to tell if there real or not so they cant tell the consumer

and if they are fake it is news to me they look completely legit and i have some for myself just trying to help people out if they want them

Who gives a shit if they are fake? If you want a Lacoste polo, you want it for the look. And these LOOK like Lacoste polos. And for $30? Who cares. That's similar to the price you pay for any polo. And if this one gives you that look that you want/girls like, go for it.

Rich people's clothing. More or less.

Also for preppy college kids who think by wearing it, it'll get them laid.

the lacoste site is sick

but while i was on there browsing, i stumbled upon the FAQ page...

"The only way of being sure you are getting a genuine Lacoste item is to buy it from one of the many Approved Lacoste Retailers (identifiable from the window sticker), from one of the 800 Lacoste Boutiques or from one of the 2000 Lacoste corners currently open around the world.

Items sold outside these sales outlets can only be counterfeit."

but yeah does it really matter if its fake? i bought a pair of lacoste jeans from bloomingdales on super sale...retail price $125, snagged them for $54.12. i'd feel pretty stupid rockin those jeans with a Polo or LeTigre, so why not go for the matching kit? $80 for a complete lacoste outfit is pretty DAMN good

you feel stupid wearing two different brands in one outfit? wow i really must have been born without a fashion gene or something. I wear whatever the heck i want...AND i dont feel stupid doing it. Right now im rocking XL sweatpants from KMART. ohhh shooot!

yeah i found them at a flee market for 20 each, i dont know how they are selling for that cheap, but they are reall and authentic,

I can almost guarantee they're fake. Lacoste is to nice for someone to have a friend selling them for $30 online. Lacoste will only sell to select stores, you CAN'T just wholesale them. And whoever says that it doesn't matter if they're fake, you stupid, just because they look the same doesn't mean they are. Real Lacoste shirts come with Mother of Pearl buttons, which are pretty rare, and bump the price up from any other polo.

i feel to old in brooks. polo is too commercial at my school, but i like it. lacoste. vineyard vines definetly, and i love the feel of anything j crew
