New Hampshire has nothing. Cannon had to close down after opening weekend last weekend because they lost all of the snow. Re-opening is the 9th at earliest. This blows
Kilington has been open since October 29, its been snowing here since 3pm, I make snow here and the guns have been on since wednesday night there still going and they just built a new park. Get to the beast we have plenty of snow
im pissed. this is the first year i bought a season pass and they told me they try to open at the beginning of december (now). its depressing looking at the forecast as theres no day in sight where they will even be able to start snow making
us in montana really arent that better off, we have no snow in our valley, and our mountains opening day just got postponed because it was too dangerous to ski. (it was supposed to open tomorrow)
im enjoying this warmer weather with my broken ankle but I have a feeling in the next week or so its gonna drop into the single digits quick. well where I live in new england
right now the midwest is better off, theres snow in my yard and has been for a few days. also supposed to snow today and my local hill is open and im going skiing tomorrow
No, your your obviously used to your hills being open this early, there is no snow whatsoever on the ground, my home hill, isn't open yet, and guess what there base is? 0, i gurrantee its not better here than on the east coast, but i'm not complaining because i'm not used to my hill opening until the week before christmas, so all of you spoiled ass east/west coast riders that are used to snow should shut the fuck up.
Just cause your hill is open doesn't mean other hills around your area aren't open. (meaning the mid west)
I don't give a fuck if your home mountain isn't open, there are mountains in your area that are open. Our only option for decent skiing is taking a plane to an area around you, instead of just driving like you can.
False, no hills around me are open, none in ohio, none in pennsylvania, none in indiana for all i know, only a couple really far north in michigan, and yep, those are my surrounding states, maybe two hills, which are like 12 hour drives.
the worst part is how this la Nina lady has been such a cock tease snowing measurable amounts on at least three different occasions while still having 60 degree weather in the end of November
