Labs and foils

I haven't heard any real talk about the 1080 Lab CR's. I did a forum search, but iddnt find much. I know the details of the ski and the racing core, etc, but what do those who've skiied em think?Thoughts?

Also, how do the foils compare with CR's? I've heard some great stuff about foils. Doing about 50% park 50% powder and everyhting else.
 
The lab skis are going to ski a lot more like the 1080's from years past, and the foils are a totally new ski for salomon with increased tip/waist/tail widths with increased length. So the kind of ski the Foil will be for you depends on the length that you buy -- comprende?
 
CR labs - shape like a Thruster... Base of the ski is a race prepared construction... Which means if you wax your skis you will get more air in the pipe.

CR's are avail in two sizes now. 61 and 81
 
i have the CR Lab and really like them. They are incredibly fast and stable at any speed. Great pop, and landing. Really stiff, you have to work to turn them. But the center mount makes them really fast in the trees.
 
I could be wrong, but you would only say that if you just saw the pictures online..The pictures do mak ethem look ugly, but they are dope in person..
 
do you think the foils really carve more like a race ski than the CR's tho? I mean the CR's are part race ski.
