Disappointing, there are such better girl skiers/snowboarders out there(well minus sarah she slays). Overall it seems too early for a girls only movie, just a waste of money on expensive shit to do it.
 
youre saying its too early to pump money into all female movies? what about when poorboyz, tgr, level1 and all of those started? was it too early to give them money then? ive been a fan of these all chick movies for a while now mischieff, runway, and now roxy have all put out sweet movies. who knows where theyll be in 2 years from now even. 
 
Well i guess roxy does have the money to spend, i guess why not. i feel it wont sell very well though but i guess its a start.
 
If they have any of Torah's pipe runs from the last two years, it's probably worth watching, that girl kills it.
 
thats pretty wack. i saw a print ad for it in a uk ski mag and it had a skier girl grinding a ledge.
 
i liked that...i like how they float out all their tricks and they may not go as big as the men they have a lot of natural style(def not forced like a lot of the "thug" male skiers)
 
just to add to this. its awesome that in the past 2 days 3 articles have been posted noting how much womens skiing has progressed. 1. the freeskiing championships at snowbird written by kristie (part of that "much too small demographic" for womens snow flicks. i was at the event and most everyone was blown away by the level of riding. girls were going huge! 2. the mt snow comp article also praised chick skiers for the badassness in the park. and then 3. the latest CFS blog posted a little earlier today, again written by the female skier. and in that you realized that some of those badass cliff drops were chicks? female snow shredding is killing it this year dog!
 
you know a video was filmed in a week or less when it has 4 shots on the same jump 6 shots on the same pipe and most shots in the same park in the teaser. A for effort!
 
Oh yeah? Girls like Natasia Zurek have been doing all 4 sevens for years in snowboarding, show me a girl skier who does that.

And you must not have seen XGames girls snowboard pipe this year, Torah, Gretchen, and Kelly are unbelievable.

Girl skiers are definitely starting to step up to the plate, but "way ahead of womens snowboarding"? That's a bit much...
 
hahaha are you illiterate? My post said judging from that video i thought womens skiing was ahead of womens snowboarding. no i didnt watch the x games or any girls events for that matter so i am no expert
 
I thought that was really good! well put together, all tricks were very smooth and stylie, I want to see the movie now!
 
Oh, I see.... so instead of having any actual knowledge or understanding of the two sports, you instead choose to make statements like "womens skiing is way ahead of womens snowboarding", based solely on a couple of video clips. Good one.
 
yep youre right, i dont give a shit, i watch skiing i dont care if it is womens or mens i just watch what interests me. i said my opinion was based on that video, sorry that i form an opinion off of a video. tell you what, next time i make an opinion i will ask you if its ok for me to state it first. how does that sound?
