L1P Refresh: the DVD review

Just finished my personal Level 1 Refresh Premiere on my couch this Saturday morning and have to say this is the most accurate account of where freestyle skiing is today. This DVD is awesome, so much kickass original bonus footage. Great work Josh and the Level 1 crew.

Highlights:

1. Obviously W*#@en M*%^er and Josh's narration. It was a perfect amount of narration to give the movie some direction but not overpower it. The motion graphics were rad and Warren's wit is still spot on. It was such a great addition and a great way to commemorate 10 years and to get kids stoked on what WM has done for our sport.

2. The movie...a mix of personal segments and location segments kept it interesting.

3. the skiers...Level 1 has such a powerful crew of talented skiers like always but it seemed much more tight knit in Refresh

4. New Era by Kyle Decker - every kid is going to cream their tall tee when they see this short film, Kyle knows hip hop, that's for sure.

Such a dope movie.... It's a movie you could show to people that have no clue why we love our sport so much and make em appreciate it. Can't wait for my hard copy so I can do this.
 
My copy came today but I couldn't get it because they left a slip in my box but the post office had closed by them. Damn, will have to wait for Monday.
 
nvm just saw the other thread, thought it was included in price

did people get shipping confirmations or did it just show up at your house?
 
i just got a shipping confirmation but no tracking #... did people have it just show it up at ur house w/o a confirmation?
 
to be honest, i'm a little irked that some people have gotten their dvds, while others haven't even shipped yet. that doesn't seem right.
 
I'd be surprised if anyone has gotten theirs just yet- Malcyk got his from a direct shipment to Full Tilt. All orders are processed in the order from which they were received, so it's as fair and efficient as it gets- USPS takes it from there. We are doing our best to get them in your hands as soon as is humanly possible!
 
I got my copy a few days ago. I have already watched it 3 or so times. Everyone killed it in that movie. The extra footage and bonus footage is banger. Buy this movie now!
 
oops! i should have put a disCLAIMER that I work for a ski boot brand that sponsors the movie.

PS: since the writing of this i have watched and studied the movie much more and have confirmed my opinion is correct. this is the movie of the year

true, and bibby. and vanular. pretty much i wish everyone in that segment had their own long ones.
 
Vanular IS BACK! I wish he had a longgg segment but the shots he had were awesome. Ghost hunters in the bonus is hilarious.
 
id love to see the extra shots from the jump on the backside of mam. heard just about every trick in the world was done that session
