yeah, so a local racer is now sponsored by nike 6.0, and that totally cool and everything but I have competed with him this year and nothing that he has done has impressed me, and his style is pretty weak, so my point is, why would they waist a spot on the nike team on someone when a hundred other kids deserve it much more...

but did you see my boy Bryan Shuey? , he kills and he is only 14(snowboarder but w/e), but now he gets more shoes than he can wear... so cool.
 
because he did well in next snow search, which doesnt necessarily mean your amazing. i guess he races/freerides. whatever i m not really a fan of him

listen to this man.....everyone on this website thinks getting sponsored is all about being able to throw the biggest shit blah blah.....its not .... ill tell you if i had a company handing out sponsors i would be looking for chill kids with a love for skiing that would be a good spokesperson/role model for my company not some arrogant asshole that throws down and is cocky as fuck
 
he is sponsored by NIKE cuz he goes to all the big comps, gets good publicity, and he is freakin awsome!!!

ooo.. and he is pretty damn good at both park skiing and racing!
 
If getting sponsored was about having the best skill, then eheath wouldn't be sponsored right now. It's all about working the industry and having connections man.
 
to clear ALL of this up....i skied with kyle in boreal...hes a fuckin schralper. i raced with him also and he rips that too. fuck all you NS shit talkers
