This kid impressed me. I just watched Lost and Found and was blown away. His segment was by far the best and had some of the sickest shots/lines. He's progressed so much compared to other segments I've seen of him from previous years and the kid is truly one of the big boys in the big mountain scene. Props kid, you got some balls.

One of the shots in the Lost and Found teaser was of Kye doing a big laid out backflip off a cliff. Except I always was positive it was Seth. When I watched Kye's segment I saw that shot and was like woahhh it's not Seth!

huge props to kye for quietly stepping his game up like none other.  Much respect to you for straight up killing the big mountain scene as a minor.

yeah dude, kye rips for his age, and hes super steezy, like it was said before if he kids charging the way he is he'll be the next seth morrison for sure

I thought he was really good in believe. He looked real smooth, not like in Show and Prove were basically all but one jump was some crazy arm flaling shit.

his seg with tgr this year was soo good. He was hitting some really legit stuff. It was one of the first segs where i truly respected him as a rider not just someone good for his age. Really impressed i hope he keeps going in that direction.

the kid has elements of sage, seth and pollard all blended into his own unique approach.

i wholeheartedly agree that if he keeps going like this, he will take over, no question.

and lost and found was sick.

I used to look at Kye as a whiny little kid who was good, but not amazing. Who got publicity for being young, and not because he was remarkable. He was good for a kid, but nothing that I would want to watch.

He has changed my mind. Although I still think he was that way, he is now developing into someone who I would actually enjoy watching their segment. His part in L&F confirmed that, and I think that in a few years he will be helping lead the sport. Props to what he is doing now, and I can't wait to see what comes from him in the next few years.

^yeah used to think the same thing. i have yet to see him in L and F i did see his part in believe. he's livin up more to his rep now

i was so fucking stoked watching him stomp massive massive cliffs, his landings were ridiculous. don't know what changed between this and last season, but i like it: he stepped up huge.

He's definitely grown up, which is a very good thing. He used to be such a cocky kid riding around the park with his massive doo-rag. I very much enjoyed his segment in Lost & Found.

unbelievable. just saw it. 17 years old!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its beyond the realm of comprehension. bc skiing in 10 years is going to be bananas!

Wow this is surprising to me, bcuz I remeber a thread specificly hating on him for "Wrecking" believe. But hey im all for it less hate more props! Go Kye!

i agree his segment was the best in the movie but on a whole the movie wasnt great kye in the retelack seg of Believe that was amazing to watch the 7 mute off the cliff was probebly the most stylish trick ive seen thrown off a cliff hes now one of my favorite b/c skiers cause of that movie

riding with a fe kids this weekend that no him and ride with him and they were syaing he trains soo hard and hes so stoked on bckcountry the first big b/c line he did was the line his dad died on in Spain so when he got to the bottom of that he was superstoked and never really looked at park again

Kye killed it. In the past I've been impressed by his park shots and backcountry booters, but this here he slayed some serious lines.

Haha I saw him at IF3, hes a cool cat for sure... he was running around like a kid in a candy shop. It was pretty funny. He looks alot older in his segment than he does in person.

Props to the guy tho! I cant call him kid because we are the same age :P

Yeah, that line is in France at Chamonix actually. And oddly enough I was there right before he did it... check out my pics to see for yourself.

Oh rele? I always thought he was 65. Thanks for clearing up the status on kye for us, much appreciated.

my jaw stayed on the floor for his entire seg. i think he is the most talented skier out ther period. him and candide. 17 years old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

His Believe seggy was amazing, but honestly, I thought Sean Pettit was even better. I think they're the same age, right?

Haven't seen Lost and Found though...

But kye was a full freestyle guy like 2 yearz ago,but now he shows his dad's talent in powder.I think that he is better in pow than in park.

both there segs were good i wish sean did some stuff off the cliffs tho only a few 3s but sean is 16 now and kyes 18

No not at all, there was an article in powder when he was 13 I think of him skiing a chute, something to do with remembering his pa.

the line they were talkiing about was the line his dad died on and that was his first real big backcountry line so he was superstoked when he got to the bottom of that
