Kung fujas vs blend

Never skied the Fujas but I absolutely love my blends. Definitely one of the best one ski quivers out there

The Fujas is a real terrific all-mountain ski. It can shred groomers, ride the park, and it is terrific in the powder. I find the tips and tails to be pretty playful and are a lot of fun. I'll be using it as my touring ski.

fujas are a great ski. they can shred everything. i found they can chatter a bit on ice and hardpack but then again i do ride in pennsylvania so any ski will chatter on the shit we ski out here. definitely consider them

Ive had my blends for just about a year now, and Ive had no complaints whatsoever, its a super fun ski and since I cant afford multiple pairs of skis these have been a perfect all mountain/one ski quiver ski for me

i already have a fat pow ski and i ski that as my daily right now. (too hard in the park and groomers)and i got a park ski coming later

i guess i'm looking for that flexy all mountain fat jib ski. just to fly off everythingi want to be able to ride as close to core center as possiblei want symmetrical flex, the same feeling riding switch in pow and groomershit the park (jumps) with them no rails. (not a fan)even dimension layout.
im leaning towards the fujas because the core mounting.

fujas are more rockered and lighter. i work in a shop and have ridden both. fujas are definately more playful lines feel somewhat damp probably a better all around park ski but if youre planning to ski like a total goon and just butter around and hit mostly jumps id go kung fujas.

I had a pair of '10-'11 Fujas. They weren't bad as an all mountain ski, but too soft for my likes. I sold them and picked up a pair of 4frnt Turbos.

I'm much happier with my Turbos.

i skied this years kung fujas the other day. they felt quite heavy but skied really nice, apart from yhe od jitter on icey patches. they were really nice switch to in my opinion. didnt get to ski pow. If i owned them i would be happy with them but i feel like there are better options out there to try... even though i havent skied them.

i would probably go for the blends lol.

went with the blends got about 6 days on them so far. im now selling my bacons because these things are so versatile. I love them for booters and into powder a stiffer ski then the fujas and a much more reliable ski. they are nice and light in the air I can flick them around and toss them. I got a size 178 and mounted them +4cm of mounting position. no I am looking for a pure park ski

Bumping an old thread, since I had the same question.

Looking at the 2012 Kung Fujas and the 2012 Blends, I'm 6' 140lbs, lookin to snow about 50% powder, 40% park, 10% other stuff, which would be a better choice?

I'm leaning towards the Fujas at the moment since they come in a 179 and I heard K2's measure long. I can only get my hands on 178 Blends, and since I heard they measure short, I'm thinking they might be a bit short for me when I'm riding powder.

I can get the Blends cheaper though, so if they won't make too big a difference I'll probably go with the Blends.

What do you guys think?

you should still be getting the 184 Bacons, but if you insist 179 Fujas will be fine but less good at pretty much everything.

Haha okay! Just can't make up my mind..

I think I'll be riding more park than I thought this year, so exploring some skinnier options, but point well taken.

go with that 179 fujas. if you could get your hands on a longer blend it would definitely be a contender. the blend is more parky and jibby feeling. fun, but likes to turn. not chargy.

the fujas is a little heavier, but that weight translates to a strong ride that is great for all mountain, and stompy in the park. even still, its very playful and easy to turn when you want it to be. given you can get a 179 in this, i would go that route.

bacon is too wide being a majority of the time park ski. it does ok its just big on rails.
