Does anybody on here partake in Kung Fu? It looks like a fun way to get fit and tough at the same time. Thoughts?

Op, i have also been thinking of this, and done some research. There are different styles, and forms.

This is Wushu, which is a mix of many things i guess.

Then there is this style who the legendary IP man practiced (can't remember the name of it, sorry), Bruce Lee was one of his 3 million followers. I reccomend to check out IP Man 1&2 (the 3rd is shit) films which is epic as fuck! Those movies are based on his life (how accurate, i don't know).

I've always wanted to train Kung Fu. It's extremely bad ass (see Ip Man clip above), but know that in order to become a master, you need to put in a lot of time. Like most things in that aspect. But, it isn't lik kids Tae Kwon Do where there are 12yo black belts.
 
And to jibpeter a few posts up. Ip Man's style is Wing Chun which was actually a style made by and predominantly practiced by women. Bruce Lee was one of Ip Man's students, but only briefly actually. And yeah, both of the movies are really good. The first one more so than the second.
 
It's all about Brazilian Jiu Jitzu. Just don't pull and Anderson Silva and get knocked out like a dumbass OP. Also, try to not break your leg on other, more powerful legs than your own.
 
I think kung fu is an art.There are many styles in kung fu which can make your health better and keep you fit and tough.It can also be used for defence.
 
Shaolin is the top contender on directions I would probably go. Wing chun seems pretty badass too and very practical. For sure one of those two.
