Hey, I bought new boots this season.(krypton rampage dalbello ) I've uesd them 2 times in the hill and it sucks. After 10 minutes. I cant feel my toes.. What does this mean? Will the boots widen out after I have stood more in them?

thanks

it could be alot of things, can you take them to a shop and get them fitted? that would be your best bet.

Crazy, i was just going to ask this SAME question word for word. I had them fitted they felt good just tight in the store so i figured after i ride a little bit they will be fine. Not the case, my feet hurt like hell when im in them and its just stupid. My toes and heel go so numb after about 20 minutes that i couldnt feel my toes when i was pinching them to get them warm again. Do you think a custom foot bed will fix this or will it pack out good or something?

^ what you just said was that you warm your toes up by pinching them, meaning that they are cold, which it was probly cold out. i have last year's rampage and they are so sick. if your toes are numb from being cold, get used to it, it happens to everyone. but if they are numb from just being in them, then you got the wrong boots or they are too tight.

so i woke up this morning and the top of my foot is blue because i have really bony feet and they were getting pushed down right there all day. Im gunna try to cut my losses sell the boots for as much as i can and get a pair of nordicas(if your having the same problem as me i would look into the ignition boot)

i have the same problem,,,, although i didnt have my heatmolded and i didnt have a proper footbed.... my toes were numb... and i hated that day of skiing....... i just got my boots heat molded and i got a footbed..... do u think this will solve the problem??

Ok so I bought mines in april, the bootfiter asked me how many days a year do I ski and I told him over a hundred, and because of that he did a race fit for me, that means a very very tight fit for a freeride freestyle boot, I used it for three days and I felt I was gonna lose my toes, I have now almost a week on the boots and its helpless, the only thing I can do now is expand the shell and if that does not work Im really gonna be pist cause how can u resell a boot with so many changes like that?

anyway, anyone with experience can tell me if that bootfitter did a bad job or I should wait and see.

Thanks!

its because theyre new. mine hurt my feet a lot at first but after a couple weeks they fit real nice and comfy. i would just keep rocking em for a while and see if they get any better... ive been riding mine for 4 seasons, time for a new pair now

i love mine this is gunna be my third season in them and there so nice...at first the only problem i had was that it hurt my ankles then after they did some streching and watnot and did some bootwork there so nice now. and i got a booster strap to replace stock stratp and there so nice i love mine hope urs works out better

a good upgrade for dalbello rampages for cold toes and fit in general are intuition liners. quality footbeds will help alot on fit too.

i had this problem at the start with mine. check if the seam between the fur and regular insole material is pinching anything in your calf. at first i thought it was just a regular good tight fit around my calf, and that the little bit of pain was fine, but it ended up being that the seam was cutting off the circulation to my foot. if you can try wearing them around your house to see if that is the case, and if it is, if it will make it go away.

make sure those two plastic tab things go on the OUTSIDE of the tongue.

the easiest solution to this problem is ID liners. i upgraded to the krypton pro this year and WOW they are so stiff. but so quick in controls. awesome boots.

I also have a few questions about these boots:
Would it be better/worth it to get the ID liner than to make a bunch of mods to the shell, or would you still have to do that anyways (I have a weird foot).
How much do the ID liners cost?
Also, does anyone find these boots heavy compared to other boots?
Thanks

I got some of your boots last year and found my toes used to get cold, apparently its something to do with the toe box and the liner from what i read on posts when i was looking at getting mine, they have bedded in now though and i found that if i warmed them up 20 mins before i put them on that they were fine.Personally i love mine and the flex is really progressive plus they hve softened up inside now. It could just be that you had them fitted to tight, i dont know just a suggestion.
