Krypton Pros or Lange Comp 120 FR?

I can never make decisions when it comes to shit like this, i went and tried them both on, and like them both, i like the roomier toebox on the langes, but the Dalbellos (raichle flexon) design is sworn by some of the biggest badasses in freeskiing. Someone help me out. I should also say that i have ridiculously stiff race boots right now, and the reason why i'm looking at these is b/c i am tired of crying after two days of skiing in a row from my boots, so i def. want somethign that would be better for freeskiing

my lange comp 120s fr are really stiff and i have had major shin bang this year but i would proably have it no matter what boot i used. I suggest the kryptons
 
yea, thats what i thought at the shop when i tried them on, the FR seemed SOOOO soft to me, and even the krypton pros seemed soft to me, and that was with their stiffest tounge in, ofcouse compared to my old boots, if i can flex them while standing still they seem soft hahaha
 
all I gotta say is dont limit yourself to one or 2 companies. Every company makes a freeride boot, the best boot for you is the best fitting boot with the flex characteristics that you need...
 
If you've tried them both on and like the feel/fit of both of those I would have to go with The Kyrpt Pros, I tried the 120 FR's on and I thought they were way to soft. I know I was in a warm skishop when I flexed them but I could bottom them out and I'm not a big guy.
 
it's gonna be love or hate... krypton is for sure the softer of the two and you won't know until you actually ski them if you like how soft they are. some people feel a bit out of control, mainly slightly weaker skiers. i mean the flex is big but it's so sweet in my mind. i love my raichles and i'm looking for the new version for sure next time round!

i'd say kryptons, take the gamble see if you love them!
 
Get the kryptons I hate my lange 80 FR boots. I get major shin bang and some times, because the toe box is so big, whenever I land to awkwardly my toes slam up against the front and either cause my big toe nails to crack bad or get black-and-blue and the boot are my size too. There also insnt very much padding in the heel either.
 
Okay, before i say anything, i love my krypton pros, and they immediately improved my skiing all aspects, and they have great response comfort and everything, almost perfect, EXCEPT, when i don't really lean forward on them, i get horrendous shin bang, which is apparently a trademark of the flexon as well. However, until i started skiing powder out west a week ago I had no shin bang problems and they were great. But if you have skinny calves and don't lean into them, you may risk shin bang.
 
^first of all, that will happen with any boot, skiing in the backseat, landing in the backseat will cause shinbang...

secondly regarding ^^ that sounds like a case of buying a boot that didnt properly fit your foot in regards to the langes... sounds like you bought a size too big

its all about fit, if you can move your foot around in the toebox or wiggle your toes excessively then the boots are too big

thats just my opinion though...

I think break-in could be somewhat painful, cramping, numbness etc... once you pack out a liner though (in a PROPERLY fitting boot) that baby will fit like a glove

I havent gotten shinbang in 3 years and my boots are 5 years old, size 8.5 and I wear size 10 shoe... its how you ski and how your boots fit that determine how much pain you are put through in the long run, not to mention how much economic hardship you have to endure after buying new boots every year or 2 because they begin to fit sloppy like a 5 dollar whore...
