just wondering what the difference is between these boots? i know theres a little bit of flex difference but other then that whats the difference?

So basically its two different shells. The rampage and a few other books use the KR1 shell. The newer shell is the KR2. It used on the core and the lupo. Is supposedly better. Personally the KR2 shell fits me better but you need to go to a bootfitter.

I don't know why people bother asking questions about boots. Just try them on get fitted and you will know which boot is better.

The kore and the rampage are very different boots

as was already mentioned, the rampage uses a wider lasted KR2 shell, but if you look at the two boots its pretty obvious what each one is made for. the rampage is an intermediately soft park boot, with just enough stiffness to be useful all mountain. The Kore is a slightly softened version of the krypton pro, so its essentially a hard charging big mountain boot, but more comfortable so you can actually wear them all day.

Core, Lupo, and kr2 pro all use the new kr2 shell. Fits a foot better, is a little less straight tube shaped.

Rampage uses the old kr1 mold.

Completely different boot. I was getting fitted a few weeks ago and tried on the kr2 and the rampage, kr2 felt much better. Ended up getting lupos.

So, if you're deciding on which to buy, whichever feels better. They are very different fitting boots.
