Krokodil: The drug that eats junkies

That is horrible and disgusting. I hope this kind of thing never happens in the U.S.

Should I look at the pictures? I really don't want to, but I kind of do...

Call me an asshole, but when people decide to try any drugs they know to be potentially addictive and dangerous its their fault. Its really natural selection. I have had many close friends and relstives eith problems, and i still believe that its the users fault

dude, you cannot imagine what life is like in those parts of russia, they haze zero hope in life, they probably couldnt give 2 shits if they die. they probably try heroin first and are immediately hooked, they cannot stop, the withdrawal symptoms are unimaginably awful. once they cant afford heroin they need their fix, so obviously krokodil is what they turn to. you cannot blame the people, just the society they live in.

Yeah, it isn't the desomorphine itself. It is the toxic byproducts of the several chemical reactions involved with synthesis which cause these devastating health problems.

This is a video with 2 patients, one with a fucked up hand and the other one is that chick with the bone arm. Only watch if you have a steel stomach.

(BTW, warning she is naked, but grow up, that is how surgeries are done)

I say if people know the after effects and that it rots your skin. They wouldn't take it. and if they do anyways... call me cold blooded but they kinda deserve it.

I understand in some countries its the only thing they can afford but still if you think the amount of money they spent on drugs if they had instead invested that money into more productive things they wouldn't need a drug addiction to make their lives seem less shitty. Maybe I'm just being an asshole.

I have had friends that turned into meth heads and I Consider them dead until they wanna get off that shit but, if they continue to use I'd rather remember them as a strong person rather than an addict. I tend to stray away from that crowd. I do agree this is a terrible drug and something needs to be done about it.

On the other hand if some people want to do it and they really want to do it. they will find ways of getting what then need for their fix. Laws are just obstacles in an addicts way they will find a way around them. People that think "oh we'll make a law that solves the problem." don't fully understand how an addicts mind works. they will do anything to get what they want no matter who it hurts or what they have to do.

I hope people are smart enough not to do this drug or that drug dealers don't think its a good switch on a heroin addict.

I personally think some drug laws should be abolished, while others enforced to the extreme.
