yeah, 1080fille, i agree. i dont think guys realize how hard it is to get out there and ski in the park with them. maybe its just me, but i get super intimidated.

 
Sarah Burke might just be my least favorite skier ever purely because she CAN'T ski worth shit...If you watch her just ski, she sucks. I think this is the reason for her sloppy ugly style. If you are going to be a pro skier, u better be able to actually ski good. Aside from this, it does piss me off that Kristi doesn't try harder. I was at Mammoth a few weeks ago and I saw Kristi snowboarding and she told me she was a snowboarder now...I was like wtf!!! But then a few days later I rode up the chair with Larose and I asked him about Kristi and he explained to me how Kristi just doesn't have the passion and desire to go out there and try stuff.

kristi is sick at rails and jumps but not that great at halfpipe. her second hit on the WSI video wasnt that high and she didnt grab on her 5 at all. i think i might even be able to boost that high. but i know my friend can boost 10 foot airs and like 7 foot high 5s wiht perfect grabs. but whatever. she is still sick

So I'm at the practice day for the WSI halfpipe comp. There's not many girls there, like 15 maybe. Every girl that was there, with the exception of Sarah and Kristi, was super friendly and chatty and stuff. Like everyone went up to everyone else to say hello and give encouragement and stuff, except those two. For a couple girls who are supposedly revolutionizing women's freeskiing, they sure are snobs.

 
I am not full of shit....i saw her snowboarding. But she doesn't really snowboard, she was being sarcastic. She was just riding down the hill not hittin and jumps or rails. It's prolly just comfortable for her to do now and then cause she is a wakeboarder, and from what i hear, shes pretty good at it.

 
Wow people really like to make up shit. Uglysnowgirl said that sara wasnt friendly and shit... whatever dude, thats the thing about sara she is all about getting more girls into skiing, which is why she is a coach at progression ski camp. i dont know anything about kristi so i cant say if shes a snob or whatever... but everyone has their days where they just dont feel like throwing down. Josh Barb has a good point if you dont know her personally then shut the hell up. have some respect!!!!!

no kristi would not quit skiing for snowboarding because she gets paid a healthy amount of money to ski. sarah burke is one of the least snobby female skier i've ever met. she's probably the nicest. martinod is super sick but she has yet to prove she can throw down greater than sarah.

there are soooo many girls out there now stepping it up like grete eliassen, virginie faivre, michelle parker, ashley battersby, denise jaworsky, kim lamarre, and i could keep going and going. a huge reason for that is seeing sarah and kristi throw down in the movies & in the comps. proving that girls can do this shit too.

if you've never actually met them, talked to them, or skied with them then shut the fuck up because your opinion is shit.

its the same case with lots of sports, the ones who have it made don't feel pressured to try so hard, while the younger guns comin in have the passion and the drive which definantly puts on more of a show
