kristi's skis better than a lot of people on this site. talk all the crap you want but she's done a lot for the sport. first girl ever in us open? she's been competing for like 7years now, i'm sure its hard to push yourself every season for that long. she's a real genuine person, and hot, and is a killer athlete so shut the fuck up.
 
im sorry but i get pissed when people like sarah burke and kristie leskinen make more fucking money then fucking corey vanular. Ok i am motherfucking sorry but the ski industry is fucked up
 
im not sure how anybody in their right mind could still consider leskinan on the forefront of womens skiing. Whatever, womens skiing is so wicked overrated. Not to be a hater or anything. Then again, this topic has already been addressed numerous times, and deservedly so.
 
Vanular may be a better skier, but Sarah Burke gets way more exposure and that's why she probably gets paid more.  She wins the X Games just about every year, has been in FHM, won a fucking ESPY...

Sponsorship contracts generally aren't based on how sick you are, they're based on how much free advertising you're giving the company.  That's why skiers who spend their seasons slaying pillow lines and bc booters don't get paid as much as skiers like Dumont who are out breaking records and winning big contests.

the only thing that made me mad about kristi is that she said the NAO jumps were to big..those are open to public..she shouldnt complain.
 
id say is more like tanner, jon, wallish, wiley miller, vanular, the idea guys, etc... thats more than 5 but id definatly say vanular is in there, he is segment in lss was the best one, and whenever he isnt hurt he is killing it.

You do realize most of my season is spent in the park, right? And you do realize the rest of that list skied park right? and finally, you do realize your fucking retarded, right?

I can appreciate good skiing when I see some and if I see a park guy doing something nice such as TJ or Simon, I'll give him the props.

And of course if I see Seth hucking a 100 foot fucking backflip off a cliff in the powder, at the end of his line, I'll give him the props too.

It doesn't make any sense to hate on backcountry if you call yourself a Freeskier.

Please, stop bitching about pro skiers when your best trick is a fucking 180. To hate on powder you must be like what, 12 years old ?

Now go watch Seth's part in Focused and try not to make too many faceplants if mother nature throws a little powder at you.
 
And do you really think that any of the pro skiers in the park you admire hate powder ?

Pretty much every skier have at least a little part of backcountry in their segments.
 
well in terms of endorsments im sure Mia Hamm does almost as well. The problem with skiing is thats kinda the only way skiers get paid.
 
kristi doesnt seem that bad. from other things of her ive kinda got the impression that she was annoying but she seemed chill there.
 
i saw this shit on tv her 3s were fuckin weak except they did do sum super gnarly bunji jumping props for that. She souhl drop skiing for bunji jumping
 
I know I'm probably going to get hated on, but Kristi is terrible compared to a lot of other girls out there. Ashley Battersby and Sarah Burke have been killing it for a long time, and Ingrid Blackstrom holds it down in the big mountain department. Ashley's segment in Enjoy was the best girl segment I've ever seen, with switch ups and 270 outs on urbans, as well as a crazy 360 sw up on a transfer from box to box. Lekinen has never done anything that has struck me as very good, and she always seems to do tail grabs. Just my 2 cents.

dude get off it. i grew up skiing park, and will always ski it, but since moving out west....sking pow is the shit.  your average park rat really CAN NOT ski pow, it just takes actualy edge control and skiing abillity. not just wish washing into a jump or rail.
