Well-I'm finally doing it... I'm selling ALL of my 16mm motion picture camera equipment. This is the camera and lenses that captured it all. Starting with all the WindUp Films movies, Clay Pigeons, TEE-TIME, The Flying Circus, the lesser seen The Bolero Project and ending with Teddybear Crisis.
I bought this camera with a fist full of cash from a little store in Seattle in 96-97 or so. Jess Gibson (Robot Food) taught me to load it and hotwire a light weight power source. I added the wide angle lens around Flying Circus to the package.
I'll throw in the complete WindUp Films series including Bolero (on, yes, home burned DVD) and Teddybear Crisis.
If the winning bidder is a NEWSCHOOLER and if you're in Portland Oregon/Mt Hood area I'll hand deliver and teach you how to load it..if not, I'll shoot a quick tutorial. I'll include a couple rolls of raw unexposed film stock if you really want to go for it.
I'm also throwing in the Dakine camera pack that the gear lived in for most of the years...the same camera pack Jamie Pierre filled with wet gloppy summer snow as he traversed above me at Mt Hood one summer. Thanks Jamie. (A word to the wise: always zip up your pack after you get something out of it cause you never know what is gonna happen)
If you are an aspiring film maker who wants to get the touch and feel of real rolling film before you move onto Digital then what better camera to use. Maybe you need another piece to go on the mantel below the LINE Ostness Dragons (wink to that). Maybe you need a cool bookend for your ski video collection, or maybe you just need a real heavy paper weight...well then, this camera package is for you.

The man, the legend, Ostness himself?!
You sir are one of my heros. I still have your pro models, I'm totally going to hang them up when I get a chance. They were my first twin tips and amazing skis except for the falling apart after a season. However, Line was still just starting back then and of course now make great skis.
For those of you that don't know, Windup Films started it all for a lot of people. Those are AMAZING movies!
Somebody should totally jump on this!

holy fuck. this is amazing. although its a say day when kris ostness is selling his 16 mil.
but i second the re release of windup films, id love to get them on dvd, my vhs's especially clay pigeons are feeling the use

This stuff belongs in a museum. Someone please buy it an put it in a glass case on a pedestal.

What I would love to have is some footage, or an edited film on 16mm. I got a 16mm projector this summer, and have yet to find any reels to play.

Thanks for the interest...and due to popular demand I just opened bidding to our friendly neighbors to the North...so bid on Oh Canada!

You sound as though you are about to go down to the store and buy it. Don't expect to get one for at least 8 months.

yea, apparently a couple days ago they announced another delay. But now the Scarlet is getting the Mysterium-X sensor!

kris when im rich as fuck im gonna buy you a 35mil camera and give you a 10 million dollar budget and coerce you to make TBC 2. no... clay pigeons 2!!

please for the love of pow pow and perky titties tell me you're just selling your older camera, not getting out of the ski film making business....this is a very very sad day if so. that TBC2 april fools day post last year was really mean...because i read it like a month later and didn't see the post date.
