Kreation vs. Kaos

What would be better for me...i will ride park most of the time but of course whenever there is a pow day i will ski it. So i want a boot that is for mostly park but is good in pow also.

Kreation flex is lower-85 so im thinking the kaos-95 would be better?

Experience?
 
have u been able to try them out..like im actually wondering if anyone has tried these two cuz i need to kno what one i should get for pow/park
 
the kaos for sure

no question

the extra with is only more versatility

the kreation won't keep you up in pow at all

and 96 is pretty much perfect

get the kaos

 
I have the Pros (same things as the kaos basically), and my shop has the Kreation...go with the Kaos its sooo much better fitting (IMO), and the boots features are way better. The Kreation looks very cheap to me.
 
alright, i ahve owned both of these boots and hated one pair loved the other....  

kreations, nice boot for park skiing.(period) they suck outside of park, i was gonna buy some boots adn it was between kreations or kaos, i figured well im spending alot anyways why not save 100 bucks and get a cooler boot, well i ended up buying the kreations, in a 27.5 (i just recently got my boots fitted and im a 25.5 so you could imagine the shinbang) well ya i had horrible shin bang and what not, then one year later i end up buying the kaos, its soooo much better. besides the smaller size its a heck of alot better, between the draw string, the "slick back", the flex and the nice cumfy liner, its deffinatly worth it to buy the koas, and now that i looked back i realised two things (listen carefully) one, never order off the internet unless you have allready tried on the boots and had them fitted at local shop, and two its worth it to spend an extra hundred or 200 dollars on a really comfortable ski boot than it is to save that money and have uncomfortable feet, cuz that makes your whole skiing experince miserable. just my 2 cents
 
Thanks a lot to all the responses..I was actually at a shop yesterday and thats why i kno my size, i tried on like 5 salomon boots so im pretty sure i got the size.
 
aka the boot fitting sticky.

go try them on before you buy and find out for yourself what you like. you may turn around and decide that the spks arent for you at all. i have a narrow foot and will never ride them, both in the park and out, id have awful control. too impercise and sloppy.
 
dont buy either if you havent tried them on. seriously. your foot might fit totally different in a waaay better boot. buy boots based on fit not hype
 
only complete fucking ass bags come into a shop get properly fitted and then go buy them off the internet or at some big box store. chances are they come back into the shop with boot problems and then they get charged out the ass for boot work.
 
ya i know what you mean, i didnt do that (incase you were worriing about me) and the only reason i could think of that helping would be if the shop ran out of your size but you tried them on before they sold out
 
I went to pretty much every shop in Park City that could have them and no boot store still had em. So I tried Salomon boots on by myself to c what fitted me. So now i guess im gonna have to get em online
 
I don't know whats going on in Park City, but I do know that our shop up here had not gotten the salomon shipment in yet. Did the stores have other 08/09 salomon boots in yet?
 
usualy not. Most of the time they just buy the new stuff, unless they have a discount store that sells lastyears stuff, or big clearence sales.
 
got ours in thursday. there was a dock strike in france and an extreme delay in getting in all the salomon stuff. im in new jersey, so chances are ull see stuff trickling in this week.

if u're in park city, why not call up salomon headquarters? its like a 15 minute drive to ogden.
 
yea i agree. when i try boots on in the shop and they fit, i get that exact boot that i try on. i know its very unlikely but even the same boot in the same size can fit slightly differently. That happened to my dad. he tried on nordica speed machine 14s and then bought the same size on pro form and they fit totally different when he got them.
 
in wrote it wrong. the kaos have shock absorbers coverng the whole foot. kreation just in heel
