ok, so this has nothing to do with the ski block movie from last year, just to start off.

Kooter Brown is a new clothing company started by Zack Cohn. Its reallllll dope and you guys should check it out. this is what zack had to say about it. i hope you guys actually take time to read it.

Hi friends and people i don’t know very well. As many of you know, over the past six months I have been developing a small snow lifestyle-inspired clothing brand known as Kooter Brown. The idea was my brother: Alex’s. He started it last winter while riding (skiing) every weekend at Mount Snow, Vermont and attending Beaver Country Day School as a senior. When Alex passed away last March I decided I would carry out his idea since he wouldn’t have the chance to. Today, less than a year later, our site kicks off at Kooter4real.com. We’d appreciate it if you visited the website, hollered at us via the comments page, and even purchased some of the items featured in the crispy Kooter winter ‘08 collection. This winter we’ll be holding an east coast tour sponsoring some very extreme events at local mountains in the northeast. We'll also be developing a small team of kooter sponsored athletes and quasi-celebrities who catch air like no other. In addition to the online store, you will be able to purchase the collection at select retailers like Concepts at the Tannery in Cambridge, MA. If you knew Alex, you know me, or you just like to do it really big - check us out. Also, I am not connected with every person that knew Alex so please pass the site on to anyone who was down with my brother or anyone who’d be interested. Enjoy!

This is such a rad idea. The website and clothing look so good and I know I'll be picking up a few shirts.

Real sick website. Always seemed like a real funny kid. I might purchase a shirt eventually! Whats the deal with the team!??!!?

I really like the website. That is damn sweet, as are all of the shirts...

and i dont mean to sound like a horrible person, but $35 is just way to much for me to spend on a shirt. Why are the prices so high? I really want one, but shelling out that much money i just cant do..

Thanks Jack (borland), for introducing the brand. I’d like to say a few words regarding young Kooter. I’m Zack Cohn, brother of Alex and owner of Kooter Brown and the ever so Youthful Stylings. Thanks to those who are checking out our site. Hope you’ve found it to your liking.

In terms of out prices, our price points are high for a reason. We’re not trying to make you all go broke. First, we made a deliberate decision to use 100% organically grown cotton. This kind of fabric is much less environmentally destructive than traditionally grown and extensively treated cotton (which is for losers). We like snow and didn’t feel like contributing too strongly to climate change. Organic cotton is more expensive though. The shirts were also manufactured and printed in the US ensuring a better quality, more sustainably produced product but, again, one that is more expensive. Secondly the shirts are produced in very limited quantities. Chances are very good that if you purchase a fresh piece from this winter’s collection you’ll be the only person in your hood getting down. To us that’s real Big. In order to offer a product with a little exclusivity the prices climb a little (so we can at least make a dollar). In other words, purchasing a piece of this collection is meant to be viewed as an experience. And it should be cherished.

Colours (this spelling looks very fashionable). We Fly High comes in white and Black. There’s no brown. Chill about the brown. The “Get Down” tee comes in river blue and an ILL yellow haze that unfortunately looks like a salmon color on the site. We’ll get that pic fixed one day (in the mean time cop because that shirt is quite dope).

Well that’s it for now. Good talk. My brother would be pretty amped up to see how far his company has come. Feel free to contact me with any inquiries.
