I want page after page of hilarious fun little insights into hipsterdom in the rigid format of "Know how I know you're a hipster?...".
Goddammit, If I had thrown this to a bunch of hipsters, it'd be ten pages and amazing by now. Fuck.
P.S. Diamond Rings is a dead serious band/solo project thing by that guy. He has an album, he tours, etc. A handful of the go-to hipster music bloggers/sites have posted reviews....and they're pretty much unanimously favorable. If you want a real laugh...watch 3 or 4 of the videos for other singles, then watch the review I posted below.

What's odd about that though is that I have no idea who you are, or how you're familiar enough with me to make presumptions about my behavior.

Only similarities are purely superficial...to the point that even an off-handed comparison feels dubious. It's a disservice to Bowie to even acknowledge the fact that this guy painted a stripe across his eyes.
This kid sat in his room with Kylie Minogue and Pat Benatar records and wrote a bedroom opus...that should've stayed there. His bizarrely and unexpectedly deep voice is so glaringly dissonant against the sugary shit happening around it that I can't even begin to take it seriously. I'm sure that's the point.....or something....but I'm unimpressed, yet thoroughly entertained from my superior, superior vantage.
 
Haha, I wasn't able to finish the video. I lost interest, the song sucks. I kept watching for a bit to see what was going to happen, nothing came up though.
 
I always screw it up over ipods. There is this one hipster girl that lives in one of the dorms near me and I really cannot help but laugh every time I see her, she just dresses so ridiculously.

the video of the girl rubbing spaghettios on her tits and cutting a hole in her pants and peeing on the floor in her moms house can not be unseen.

but i mean, i totally get it. that girl is so deep, that was a life changing moment. I feel like ive been educated in ways i cant explain because you probably wouldnt get it anyways.
 
All I can say for that is we must have a new generation of hipsters coming in. And bringing with them a sense of nostalgia for 90's boy bands. Be afraid, this may get very bad.
 
I was going to say that people should be able to do what they want for the most part, but after watching that spegettio video, i changed my opinion. those people should have decisions made for them.

I consider myself to be pretty left of center. and a bit of a weirdo with bizarre eccentric tastes. I've taken a weird route to adulthood myself, but fuck.
 
I SMOKE A FUCKING PIPE! my God... i did not realize my mistakes until now. although I dont look exactly like any of them in particular, i have been tempted to purchase buddy holly glasses.
