Knockarounds vs. Frogskins

Frogskins have a spherical lens that is better for your eyes and optically correct, not sure if K.A. does this. Also, all Oakley glasses and lenses are OSHA certified as safety glasses so they are shatterproof and will protect your eyes from small projectiles. Don't think K.A. has this either.

Pretty much spot on, plus oakley is uv a and uv b protection. Knocks rounds are great for a beater pair of shades but I wouldn't wear them if I am using glasses all day every day. My new daily driver is holbrooks currently. That and I like to switch off with oil rigs. To of my favorite frames.

Thanks, currently I have some polarized oakley half jackets but im selling them to a friend and i want to buy some more lifestyle oriented sun glasses instead of sports ones. I'm looking at holbrooks and frogskins

no.

knockarounds are budget friendly and nice beater glasses. they're 15 bucks so why not buy a couple pairs and wear them until they break.

The frogskins have a spherical shape, while KA don't. Kinda like a spherical goggle like EG2's verses something non-spherical like E-Frames. Knockarounds are cheap and look sick though.

I meant to ask is the frame the same size? lots of sunglasses are to big for me but for some reason frogskins are fine

This, if I were to ever get a pair of expensive sunglasses it'd be these, but for now I can settle for a pair of knockarounds for like 15 bucks.

I have two pairs of wayfarers and two pairs of knockarounds for when I'm doing anything that i could remotely damage or loss my raybans. You can really tell the difference of the lenses though

No. I've held my frogskins up to KA's and they are almost exactly the same size. The frogskins lenses are just barely bigger. I like the way frogskins fit better than the KA's though, plus the lenses are superior. I have the understanding that oakley lenses are made of one piece of material which keeps them from opticaly deteriorating over time like lenses made of several pieces put together do. I was told this at an authorized oakley dealer so i'm assuming it's true.

knockarounds fit tighter on the side of your head then frogskins, and are slightly smaller. I own 3 pairs of KA and a pair of frogskins, the oakleys win
