Knitting question

I already used the search bar and theres nothing about this.

When i'm knitting i can get the hat about halfway finished but i start having trouble towards the end. I used the circular needles but as i get down to like 20 or so stitches it gets to be a real bitch to knit because the hat hanging below inhibits the motion of the needles. I've tried using other needles too to slip in but i keep dropping stitches when i do that. any help is appreciated.

hope you leave soon, and stop being such an overcompensating tough guy hahahahahaha!

I dont really know to much about circular needles, I havent had to much luck with them in the past, but i can def help you out with knitting with 2 long needles.

crocheting is much easier, and its less of a mess. if i were u i would start crocheting, its easy to learn and you can make sick hats

You have to switch to double point needles when it gets to hard to knit with circular needles. Double point needles are exactly what they sound like, needles with a point on each end. YOu buy them at the store and they come in sets of 5. Seperate the stitches evenly on 4 double point needles, for example if you have 20 stitches left, put 5 stitches on each needle and then use the 5th needle to keep knitting and you just keep going around and transfering stitches to the 5th DP (double point) needle.

Oh, and if you are having trouble slipping the stitches to the DP needles, just leave the stitches on the circular needle and grab your double point needles and just knit the stitches onto the double point needles instead of trying to slip them off. Yes, it can be hard transfering stitches, but it just takes practice. Its actually pretty damn easy once you figure it out. If you are still having trouble, go to youtube and just type in basic things like "how to slip a stitch from one needle to another" or whatever you want to know about kniting. There are a shit load of videos that will help you figure it out. Also, if there is a yarn/knitting shop in your town, go down there and be like "Show me how to do this!"

Word. Switch to DPNs or if you dont want to do that then get it down to the least amount of stitches possible and put your working yarn through all of the stitches and tie it off.
