I have a couple knives for hunting and camping etc. the one i have found thats most durable and sharpest would have to be my Buck Alpha Hunter, i know its a "hunting" knife. but i would suggest considering it
Yeah, but don't expect to cut anything tough with it. Or for it to hold an edge. And it's really a matter of personal preference, but I'd go for the straight edge. I'm not a fan of serrations.
Definitely dont buy through Bass Pro, ive had a lot of bad experiences with them. but i would go and check out the knife before purchasing. Your not looking for a multi purpose blade are you? If a gut hook isnt a problem then the alpha hunter might just be the knife your looking for.
I haven't gone hunting in years, and I don't think I'm going to be gutting anything in the near future. I basically need it for all purpose, but I also want it to last forever.
I thought you wanted a culinary knife. I've never had to use a switchblade kind of knife before though. I would imagine a good wrench would be better for your truck.. change the tires instead of slashing them? I like wrenches. and you can use it for self defense too, if you want.
i would get a butterfly nife i have one and it is always sharp and has held up to alot i have had it about 2-3 years and use it all the time and is still like new
