Knee

Today, i was bouncing on a tramp (which was wt and slippery). When I landed a jump, my right foot slipped, and my lower leg went left, while my upper leg went down. I have never seriously injured my knee before, so I was wondering about what pain level I should be feeling. It's a little swollen, but not too bad. The pain is moderate, not excrutiating, but not exactly comfortable. I can kinda walk, but not easily. Please let me know what you think.

 
u prolly just twisted it...the swelling makes it hard to walk because it makes your knee stiffer and harder to bend...if u hyperextended it u might of dislocated ur kneecap...if it made a loud popping noise then u might of torn ur acl

theres no point in going to the doctor if he just twisted it...thats a lot of money to waste...wait and see...if it gets worse then go see a doctor...if the swelling doesnt go away in a week then something is wrong...just put lots of ice on it

go to the doc get the xrays see what they think...you don't want to fuk around with your knees...so what if you're american you may have to pay a little big deal...your knee is worth it

If it continues to hurt def go to a doctor... your knees are a very improtant joint and they are also very easy to fuck up for the rest of your life. It's always good to get it checked out just to be on the safe side.. Otherwise the damage could get worse and lead to major problems that never completely heal. If you are injured take it easy and give it some resting time before you do anymore strenuous activities that might fuck it up even more.

 
Yeah. DONT do anymore trampoline until you are completely sure you're alright.

There is a slight possibility that you could have torn, or partially, torn one of the crucial ligaments in your knee. If its partially torn, you'll need to see a doctor anyway for rehabilitation and something to support your knee while it's healing. If its completely torn, you're out for minimum 6 months and will need surgery if you want to continue frestyle-skiing. If its completely torn and you keep jumping in the trampoline, it gets worse and you'll be looking at a lifetime injury, EVEN with surgery!

I've torn the ligament in my right knee. Its a month ago today. I've started training my muscles for my operation in may. It sucks having missed my season. So Im hoping for you, its not that bad.

i've had they kneecap thing, pretty sure that's not what you've done i couldn't walk in the beginning. and my knee was as big as a melon, and all round.

 
if you have insurance go to the damn doctor, not worth the risk.

my knees have like no cartiledge left, and arthritis at 22 is not fun
