I go for knee surgery tomorrow, I decided to skip the MRI because I knew something was fucked.

I don't know what's wrong except that it is either my medial meniscus or ACL. When I wake up from the anesthetic I will know if my knee will be better in 2 weeks (meniscus) or if it will be fucked for a good part of the winter (ACL). Wish me luck, pray for me, anything! If I don't ski I'll smoke way to much herb.

good luck man, my brother has had knee surgery somehting like 5 or six times now, but he also is a football player and i bet ALOT bigger than you... anyways best of luck man.

I'd take the epideral(spinal tap) if I were you. Stay awake and watch the surgery and talk to the docs. Waking up from general anasthesia can suck.

Oh ya i had an MRI that showed minicus damage and when they went in the doctors couldnt find the tears in the cartilidge... I woulda had the MRI 1st... Recovery is a bitch listen to your doctor thats all i can really say cause really techincally you dont know more then your doctor! But ya best of luck for a quick speedy recovery adn lets hopen its not an ACL...

I had my knee surgery today, bad news I completely blew my acl. But because it doesn't hurt at all I am wondering if I get a dope knee brace if I'll be able to ski.

ya it wont hurt for about 36 hours after ur surgery cause thats how long it takes for the morphine to wear off and if ur takin prescription painkillers you wont feel it. But just because it doesnt hurt doesnt mean you cant injure it more by doing stupid shit and not letin it heal properly.
