Knee problems?

im just wondering if any of you have ever gotten this in their knee:

so like 5 days ago, i noticed stiffness in my knee following baseball practice. I noticed that it was a little larger than usual, so i iced it. It kept getting bigger, and i couldnt move it, however, throughout the entire thing, i have had no pain. IT got so big that i went to a docter, and he said it had to be drained. He pulled out 90 cc's of this wierd yellow fluid. I dont have any ligament damage or anything like that. but he wont tell me whats wrong....

anyone ever had this happen to them? is it lime disease?

it's very common in teens who are experiencing their growth spurt, and do something to aggravate it. i had it. i got kicked in the knee playing soccer and that's when i noticed it. last a few years, then goes away. no big problem, accept it's very sensitive and just feels like you have a bump there

i had something that went a little like this:

your kneecap sits in a groove so that it can slide up and down, but mine was out of the groove and rubbing away the ligament... fucking hurt like a bitch though so i doubt you have it
 
Lyme disease usually only affects skin. Your problem sounds like it isn't a skin problem. I remember a kid who broke a small piece of their knee-cap off. He didn't find out until he got a x-ray much later. The small piece obstructed the tendon on the lower part of his knee, and caused some serious swelling. But with no pain I doubt that happened to you.
