KKK adopting a high way.

im not a racist, but we live in murica and part of that is allowing groups like the KKK to assemble. If they do not commit violence or any other crimes they are not in violation of any law.

So whoever lives along this highway things to do.

1. Shit in plastic bags and leave it along this highway.

2. Dump any other nasty shit there
 
What's wrong with them adopting a 1 mile stretch?

If they're willing to care for a section of road then let them, otherwise it's left up to the state. Besides, the sign could only read either "KKK" or "Ku Klux Klan" or something to that effect, which is no big deal because it's no secret that they exist.

People will bitch about the most foolish things..

This has happened before in St.Louis. The government let them adopt it but named it the Rosa Parks Freeway, nobody ever came to clean it up haha.
 
Thats what I was saying...yeah, where I said the people saying they would shoot them/blow them up were being hypocritical.
 
I have a feeling that your family wouldn't understand the humor in it. Listening to my father (white) talk about what it was like to live in the 60s and 70s with my mother (black) both breaks my heart and gives me pride that my family had the strength to stick together through such a powerful criminal adversity. It's easy to say it doesn't mean anything, but imagine driving by a sign, everyday, that stands for the very hatred that affected the livelihood and freedoms of your family? I feel that this is a serious topic, and while I am probably to old to have an opinion on NS forums, I ensure you that if this sign were allowed that it would have caused major social issues.
