Kite Skiing Start-up Gear

Recently I've been thinking of taking up kite skiing. Live close to a lake and when its frozen and windy a lot of people are out rippin it. Super down to try it but I need some equipment. Does anyone have information on what beginner kites to buy? as well as harness and line info?

If you live in a place where there's a lot of people doing it, go ask one of them. Usually you will want a 10-12m inflatable, or an 8-10 meter cell kite to learn with. If you've never flown a power-kite, look into getting a trainer to learn on. You will need to get a bar and harness, some kites include them as a package.
