Kit lens?

Hey people of Newschoolers... I have a t3i the kit lens... My pictures aren't turning out crisp at all, is it because I am using the kit lens? I also the canon 75-300mm telephoto lens, that seems to produce alot better pictures.

If you'd post example of your pictures It would be easier for us to tell if it's because of the kit lens or if you just need to work on focusing, ISO, etc.

The kit lens isn't amazing but you can still get good results out of it

No it's because you lack skill, don't blame your gear, blame yourself.

Post a photo shot at at least 1/250 shutter speed, aperture between f8 and 11, iso 100. Those settings should give an image as sharp as possible.
