Just to let the people that didnt know, Kirkwood's superpark will be open Feb 4.

Dad always thought laughter was the best medicine, which I guess is why several of us died of tuberculosis.
 
I don't get why they keep putting it off...all of the hits are pretty much ready to go now. Also, I think that they are having a Sick and Twisted Slopestyle this weekend at Kirkwood.

Did anybody make it up to the Superpark opening this weekend? How was it? Did they change anything from the comp they had last weekend?

 
i was there and it didnt really change. i didnt go in cuz u hafta get a pass, but its only like 5 dollars or somethin.

Did they have the quarterpipe or the big jump after the Lion's Mouth set up? Did they move any more rails over to the Superpark?

 
they had like 3 rails i think and there wasnt a pipe or nothin that i kno of. i dunno about jumps

Thanks for the info. I am kind of bummed because I can't make it up there until the 21/22, but I am glad they at least have it open.

the jumps are sweet. I've been hitting that up. They have a mid jump that kicks you up probably about 15+ feet high.

About the time of the pondskim they are going to have a big air comp. Anyone else going to try it? I'm thinking about giving it a shot.

yeah, the Superpark has been dismantled for the season. they just have the Lion's Mouth and the bottom hit still built for some photo shoot coming up. The other park is a little weak, but what can you do/ Hopefully, they will get a good dump of snow these next few days...
