Kirkwood

Went there past Saturday/Sunday, it was pretty warm so it was slushy, park was ok. Then again, I don't go to Kirkwood for park.

They've got two really nice jumps (35 and 45 I think) as well as a few smaller ones, a really nice f-d rail, a wall ride that is more like a kicker, a fun log stall/jib thing, and some other rails and boxes that are not bad, but not big either. There is no pipe or quarter pipe due to lack of snow.

actually there is a mini pipe that would be fun on a snowskate

The mountain is fairly well covered, there are a lot of features that are normally covered so keep your eye out for some fun natural jumps and gaps stuff. The best jump on the mountain is halfway down the far part of eagle bowl: its a twenty foot cliff with a perfectly flat takeoff and a 100 foot landing.

Enjoy!

probably not tracked out yet as long as you go big...

seems like not too many people skiing the mountain while the comp is going on

The cliff of which I speak is almost in the finals contest venue as it is right on the edge of the Cirque/Eagle Bowl and you have to traVERSE OVER SOME ROCKS TO GET TO IT

fucking capslock!
