There is a big air/rail jam comp at mount kirby/aka the oshawa ski club. It is only 5 bucks to enter and if you dont have a membership then u can just get a "restricted ticket" for 15 bucks which lets you just ride the contest.call kirby pro shop to get details or go to kirby pro shop and get a flyer....it has all the info....

oh and ps. helmets mandatory.

BIG AIR AND RAIL JAM

-just 5 bucks to enter

-practice is 9am to 1030am

-big air comp. is 11am to 2pm

-rails jam 230pm to 4pm

-register at the east chalet office before 12 pm

-waivers must be signed at the time of registratoin(18 years or older person must sign)

-non-members can purchase a restricted even lift tickets for 15$$$

-strict no inverted aerial policy(disqualified if inverts are done)

-helmets mandatory

-spectaters welcome

take highway 115/35 to regional rd. 9 at kirby, head east 3 km.enter at gate 4.

yo skibum......check it up top where like one of my posts i put a bunch of crap on the comp. there is a number on that post and it says call mark....u can call him and tell him you crap and then ask him to hold u a spot...then come in to kirby at like 8.30 like me to register...

effin poo... i got put on a waiting list. I just hope that the comp is full cause of 60 actual riders and not like 40 of those......things that hang out in kirbys park. you know what i'm talking about, those kids who just dont even come close to making the landing and such

it woulda been nice if the sign up wasnt yesterday before 12, me and 3 friends got there, only to be told the comp was full, and that we couldnt ski, full of straight airs, flat landings, and wack spins, its too bad that they would shut out people who drove a good hour and half to get there, and then have the thing end two hours early, would it have killed anyone to add in a few people who were pumped to have a good time? it seemed to be well organized and well run, and despite the crap skiing it would have been awesome if they had opened the door to the 10 or so people who tried to register today, thanks for wrecking my day pompous bastards,

too bad i tied for last with 0's across the board

ya i agree i would have ATTEMPTED a 9. but they didnt tell us, how ever Jess said they did in the annoucment. i didnt hear it. i dont think anyone did.
