you mean with just one kink? a flat-down? no theyre really easy (provided you can do flat bars no problem obviously), just lean a bit more forward on the down section
The whole looking straight down the rail trick becomes much more necessary on kinks if you ask me. On flat rails I pretty much black out and look wherever my mind takes me, but if I don't look straight down the rail through kinks I come off when I hit the flat.
Flat to up kinks are kind of hard to learn. They have one set up at 7Springs and being that I havent been on skis for a while i ate shit when my back ski caught in the kink. It was one of those falls where you here everybody waiting to hit the rail go OH SHIT. Fun rail though.
