Kings not opening til early feb, are you kidding me PC?

Very true.

So I went night skiing tonight. Pretty sick when there is 9 people in the park and 4 of them are park crew. Pow tranny finders on the side of the jumps and jumping over bomb holes. Pretty fun night.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 35. Light and variable wind.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 43. Calm wind.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 43.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 44.

bluebird all week yeeeeeeeee

That was pretty sick though...

But why they couldn't of built that hip / Q pipe to airbag somewhere else on the hill I don't know....

As was previously said, Breck and Key seem to manage their parks to serve public and pro's - before Dew kicks off (and X for that matter), it's a who's who of skiing in breck / key training.... but they're all in line to drop in with idiots like me too....

Was in PC this weekend - was great fun.... busy in town though for Sundance, but the hill was dead....

How was that sick? they could have built that shit anywhere else on the mountain. It was a bunch of pros fucking around and throwing some dubs into a bag, probably for 1 days out of these 3 weeks kings is being closed for. Bullshit.

That's what I said....

I do not understand why they couldn't have built that anywhere.... it's not like they don't have the space.... But i guess only someone from PC can answer you that.

The edit being sick and looking like fun is unrelated - also - isn't the pipe at PC 18ft? If so - why are the monster pipe team "training" there for X and not Copper or Breck in a 22ft pipe?

Anyway - i digress...

Decisions at corporate resorts like park city arent as simple as it is made out to be in this forum. If it were up to Jeremy and the core terrain park department, decisions would be different. Its not as black and white as some people are making it out to be.

snowboarder homie said that after shawn white had his photo shoot on the stepover he had them destroy it.

so after all of that training/photo shooting by the monster team it seems like it really paid off. pretty sure none of their athletes made finals in pipe or slope.

Only logical answer is that they didn't have sufficient practice resources and time. Next year they're gonna book 2 months to themselves on Kings.

it will be closed until the 6th with the pipe. I talked to cooper today and he said that there was just no safe way to keep it open with that tent there and all the sled/cat traffic that will be going through that zone

Had so much fun at PC.

I wish that flat rail had a flatter jump though, it would be so fun to take speed into and boost off, but as of now if you took that same speed to boost off of it, you'd clear the rail.

Also, When will it snow over 4inches? I am getting kind of antsy to ski some pow in the PC/Canyons area. I kind of wish I had a brighton pass.

welp to let you all know kings is SICK. the booters seem like they can use some tweaking but the jibs are the shiiiiiiiit. apparently it's gonna be open this weekend and they're going to change the set up a little bit and add some stuff at the beginning for when it opens.

i hope those landings for all those step downs in kings are maintained at a steep pitch. it was a shame to see the step over demolished and replaced with only step downs...

just a good, fun set up. and i thought the jumps were pretty fun. real big, only thing is they could probably use a little more pop but still real fun

go to the end and you can see a look at most of the course. looks really awesome and talked to park crew today said they were gonna keep pretty much all of it other than adding more rails all the way to the top and by mellowing some of the gaps onto the rails.
