Kingpins/Dynabeasts for Freeride?

Anyone here ride park with these bindings? Do they hold up? What's the pivot toe like?

I have a pair of Black crows navis freebird with marker king pins that I have skid a lot in the park, x games superpipe and the biggest big jumps. worked fine without any prerelease

Can you? Yes.

Should you? Hell no.

No real lateral release, poor shock absorption due to the pins, and very delicate when compared to alpine bindings.

Don't mix touring binders and park unless you're using a CAST or frame binding setup.

For some reason I highly doubt you have done any of those things

Kingpin is underrated, but if you aren't touring and have the choice I would 100% choose a different binding for park skiing.

Would the kingpins hold up for a while? yes....would they perform as good as an alpine binding? no....would you be slowly destroying destroying a very expensive binding while an alpine binding would easily withstanding the abuse? yes.

Also, park is not freeride...i know people who have used kingpins on occasion for freeride. They can do it....but a much better idea would be to have an alpine binding for riding inbounds and leave the tech for BC
