saw the thread on simpsons, and it brought up a question/comment that i had.

most people dislike king of the hill, and i used to also, but then i started to watch it and its pretty funny, different kinda humor than simpsons though and not as good.

who likes it who doesnt and why. and best moments of the show.

it is by far better than american dad though.

american dad is a gay version of family guy. king of the hill is completely different from everything else, but is not really funny. just sort of dumb. if i want to laugh i turn on south park or family guy, with the occasional simpsons.
 
i like king of the hill. the whole show is a joke rather than it just being jokes inside the show. satire. yadadamean?

 
I love King of the Hill because it's actually funny. They the writers have some grasp on character development and humour.

Simpsons will do absolutely anything to get a cheap laugh, honestly it's sad to watch.
 
They are actually taking King of the Hill off the air this year. I love the show, so funny. One of the best ones is when Booby starts to grow Rose's for some comp. And gets sponsored by a head shop.
 
I used to watch this show translate in french when I was younger. I find it really better in english...like every american show/movies
 
sunady night with disfunctional junction or whatever it is is the best, just a night of KOTH, famly guy, simpsons and american dad.
 
one of the funniest shows on tv. i pretty much grew up in texas and they've got the lower-mid-class, dallas-area suburbs absolutely NAILED. it's fucking hilarious to me because ive seen real life versions of practically every character

Apparently, propane and propane accessories aren't as hot as they used to be. Fox has cancelled its long-running animated sitcom, "King of the Hill," after 13 seasons.

The animated adventures of Hank Hill, his family and friends, first hit the airwaves in 1997. Over the years, it has showcased the vocal talents of Kathy Najimy, Brittany Murphy, Stephen Root, Breckin Meyer, Tom Petty, and even one of its creators, Mike Judge.

Both Judge and co-creator Greg Daniels have moved onto other projects. Judge is currently working on a new 'toon titled "The Goode Family," while Daniels wears many hats behind the scenes of NBC's "The Office." There's no word on whether the cancellation has anything to do with Fox's two new upcoming cartoons: "Sit Down, Shut Up" and the "Family Guy" spin-off "The Cleveland Show."

The New York Times says that "King" should reach the 250-episode mark around May, with the finale coming around summer. For now, "King of the Hill" airs every Sunday at 8:30 p.m. (EST) on Fox. -- Rachel Cericola

 
I like king of the hill better than simpsons/family guy because it sheds light on real issues in a funny way. Its not as cheap of humor as the other cartoon sitcoms. Southpark is better than king of the hill but I like both.
 
I don't watch it on a regular basis, more of a "if theres nothing else on" kind of deal. Either way I still think it has its moments. Its an aquired kind of humour.
 
your talking about family guy right? the simpsons has way more developed jokes if you ask me, family guy is just a bunch of random shit thrown in for shock laughs, family guy is sad to watch.
 
King of the hill is hilarious, everything and anything hank does its just ridiculous.
 
i hated king of the hill because the jokes were always crappy and it was a wierd kind of humor but after watchin it high multiple times that show is awesome
 
great show. one of my favorites. my favorite moments are when dale runs into a room or does something and then yells SHHH SHHH SHHHHAAAA. It's great. my roommate did that all the time last year and it was so funny.
