that is true except the not funny part. some of my family and friends live or lived in texas for a good part of their lives and they are so funny. i guess you just have to like rednecks or have some in or close to your family to really appriciate the show.

Except for the comedy is based on the stereotypical strongly founded character's morals encountering logically opposing arguements. The only thing that doesn't really make it a satire is that it's doesn't offer and they don't change their lifestyles.
