Kinda wanna get a snowboard

So I'm a pretty good skier but I wanna try snowboarding. Can I just buy a cheap board on craigslist? Can I use it for park if I want?

Give me some of the ins and outs of snowboarding since I know next to nothing.

Yeah. Go to a website for a snowboard company, look at their different boards and google for previous years models. Instead of '17 Capita ultrafer you could get a '13. I've had thirtyboots and loved them. Union Forces or Forum Shakas are just about the only good binding I've ridden.
