Kinda random but anyone here ever been to telluride?

yo siver dude thats sick! ive never been there but i heard its sick...i want to go so bad...hopefully i'll go this winter and possibly vail. never been out west and i might go twice in one winter...thats SO solid. maybe i'll talk to u some other time if i see u posting...if u dont mind

yeah i get a season pass there everyyear, moutnain is sick the backside has some gnarly pow/pillow stashes on a pow day and genevieve is always good

dont forgett about the park is sick.... i can make 3 laps in 15min cuz the lift lines are so short up here. we have a super pipe, wall ride mad rails and 15 new features this year just begging to go up... were the under dog of colorado or park is so empty and well mantained... come check us out we have something for everyone....

yeah except last years park had no flow, except for the three jump like but then you had to go all the way around to get to the bottom part of the park, where there is potential for tons of features but all they put up is like a rail and two boxes and a small kicker/rail combo, if you could hit the upper park like mailbox and wallride into the jumpline into both the rail section and the lower park put together , and finally the pipe, the park would be top 3 in co, but for now...

i haven't rode there since before gold hill had a chairlift, but it's a sick mountain, lots of steeps and pow to be had. plus that super steep run that they winch groom is fun as shit to mach down first thing in the morning. the plunge and spiral stairs had the biggest moguls i've ever seen, and both runs are like a mile long.

unless it hadn't snowed in weeks though, you wouldn't catch me in their park when there's so much good terrain to be had.

sick, all i know is that my school is going out there this year for like 600 for a week and thats a sick deal so im going for sure

Dude, go this weekend. They have the Blues and Brews thing. Free beer samples from like 100 different places. Great camping.

I have never been there for the Winter though. I hear they have AWESOME heli skiing also.

i'm sure it costs BANK to fly straight into telluride. probably your best bet is to fly into the Grand Junction airport and then go south from there. it's probably 4 hours or so from GJ depending on weather.

it's a really fun place to ride...last time i was there they didn't have a ton of park, but whatever. it's nice and steep, huge vertical drop, great views, GREAT snow and out-of-bounds stuff. found a lot of fun tree runs and back country last time i went. have fun, i might be out there this winter.

season passes were extremely expensive last i checked though, but i saw the regular november prices, i dont know if it's cheaper when you buy early
