I say its BS that they are not opening until Nov 11th. Okemo is opening on the 5th.....bastards.....they are already rippin at Loveland with boxes and rails
 
okemo will not beat killington. They always say their going to open first but it never happens. Thats what they said last year too...Killy will open as soon as they can..
 
^ its cuz killy doesn't care anymore about being open first, but it did flurry today on the mountain, and right now its 33 degrees outside- sooooo, SNOW IS COMING!!!
 
okemo can't possibly beat killington, weather-wise and asc wouldn't let it happen.

as for their park, word is they are doing an all urbanish run.
 
killington is the best. okemo is ok but killy will open first and i hope they have a better snow park this year.
 
Killington will do there snow test soon and are shooting for the 11th.

Its possible for Okemo to open first. Killington may not make snow if they see its not going to be cold enugh for a set amount of days. They arent going to blow when in 5 days its going to be up at 50. Okemo may take the risk, and open before killy
 
Whenever they open i cant wait just to get on snow and SKI. I mean who cares about an early season park, they will always suck. They are just stupid little rails i could do in my backyard
 
So what are the chances that Killington will be open on Nov. 11th? I wanted to take a trip for the weekend of the 17th...how much do you think will be open? It is early season so lodging and what not should be cheap, but the best deal on thier site for that weekend is like 200 a person to stay the 17th, 18th, and 19th and ski the 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th. Anyone have any ideas for cheap ass lodging up there? Or have a house? We will buy the beer!!
 
How do you know this? Are you there? Killington does not have mountain cams on thier site...at least I can't find them...do you have any pics???
 
I live there- one of the few, locals, but no I didn't take any pics, sorry! I heard were suppose to get a lot of snow on sunday....
 
r u serious, i love killington, im there every weekend... theyre getting snow or theyre making snow on sunday??
