Anybody have any nice 'backcountry' spots in the Killington area to share... it seems the trees are a bit thicker than up north but I know there's some good spots like the one off West Glade i think it is... Thanks.
if your looking for some back country, your lookin in the wrong fuckin place. killington has waaaaay too many people. there was back country, but they've expanded so much that it's all just trails, biatch
Yeah you're definately right. Killington is in the forefront of resort development, but i know theres gotta be something between the 200 trails and right outside the boundaries. But you are absolutely right.
not that great, but not that bad either - somewhere on the way down to the triple they open early season, there's some power lines that can be good if it snows a lot. can't say i know any trail names though
haha yes... stay away from killington. there are NO SECRET GLADES at killy... NONE... if you are looking for the 'SECRET GLADES', don't go to killington. Especially not near...oh wait... nevermind...
i guess if by technical you mean realyl tight with trees and rocks and branches everywhere they might have some of the most tech in the country, but skiing jackson or little cottonwood canyon backcountry is alot more technical than the east coast. sorry to burst your bubble
