Snow is snow. Ive hiked tucks in august a few years back to ski some sketchy patch of snow/dirt. Tenney at least has some soul and its all corp.ed out. jah know?

 
straight from tenney: 'we will have our terrain park open with 1 tabletop and 3 rails (flatdown kink, hip-o rail(mcmurray backflips off) and a rainbow rail... it will be open wed. oct 1st, 2003 from 12p.m.-4p.m. and that saturday and sunday from 9a.m. to 3p.m.'

Last year Woodbury CT opened before Killington, breaking it's record...it even said so in Freeze or Freeskier or somewhere, I forget where. boyyeeee.

tenney will open the first, it was quite chilly today, and it's supposed to snow this week too..and if it's not open the first, they will definately be open the 5th..

i'll check on how they're doing tommorrow, hopefully

I talked with some ppl at tenney they know alot of ppl wont be able to come on Wen. so opening day will now be the 4th which is sat. Huckin meat on the 4th. Only thing is no open slope just a park.

 
right because everybody knows that tenney owns killington any day of the week. tenney has soo much more terrain and vertical and im sure that as soon as they open they will have such quality skiing. i cant wait.

last year a mountain in CT opened up a day before killington, it was just a tiny bunny hill with a rope tow but it had a couple of rails and 2 jumps

i've never been to tenney before but ivebeen to killington and they always have way more terrain than any other mountain...thats cool tenney will have more features but you'll get more bang for your buck at killington

one opening of killington 2 years ago, i was skiing with a friend of frzgene, and it was opening weekend and there was no terrain features at all, so we built stuff, and patrol promptly made sure they all got knocked down.. ok i understand but its freaking opening weekend cut us a break! .. so i dont care who opens first.. id go to the first one who has some sort of terrain features.

i personaly like to stay away from terrain features on the first day, i mean for the first part i suck i hitting jumps so i have really no appeal to be out hitting them, plus its always nice to have a warm up day from that long summer, just to get my goove back on. All i need to do is hit a booter on killy's opening day and break my leg.
