Killington to open Nov. 11

You'd better hope they've blown a shitr load of snow, the forecast this week looks like August
 
Eh, I am having a hard time believing it because it's supposed to be in the mid 50's all week.
 
i hope they have the same setup for opening day as they did for they're late season park
 
ain't gonna happen unless the weather does a complete turnaround. It's going to be wayyyy too warm this week. Get your fix at SR, cos Killy will not open this weekend.
 
well if they dont open this weekend, i dont see how theyre gonna pull off a railjam on the 19th, when it will be their first weekend open
 
If they dont open this weekend they will still hold the rail jam on the 19th i will guarantee it. They almost always have a rail setup opening day so i dont see why the would cancel loaded turkey.

well mt snow is opening on the 18th, so if killy doesnt open this weekend, im just gonna bag killy all together and go to mt snow on the 18th. cause i know for a fact that killy is gonna be 3x as crowded as mt snow will be. and i love mt snow
 
i would assume so because i think almost every mtn has some kind of rail. wheter its a flatbar or whatever all i care is if i can slide it. i ll see if i can find out excaty what they have. and to fugative, they ve been blowin snow for a while and plan to be top to bottom on the 18th
 
i was at killington yesterday and anyone working snowmaking that i talked to said that nov 11 was gonna get pushed back if we get hot weather this week. theres not enough snow on the bottom of the mountain yet though the top is sick, ill post some pictures later
 
I just want a strip of snow 35 ft long and like 8 ft wide, with a rail somewhere in the middle and a nice little lip infront of it, and a chairlift, fuck hiking that shit...
 
The weather is really as bad as they have been saying. No snowmaking right now, nasty little midwest weather system of blotchy rain coming through. Chigago to Alabama right now is expierencing anything from drizzle to full on rain showers. Boo hoo.
 
yeah my home mountain is supposed to open on the 23rd and basically for the next two weeks straight its supposed to be in the 50's or high 50's and raining some of the days..were getting butt fucked so bad by the weather right now for early season skiing hopes....
