so what is the deal wiht it. they were supposed to have a comp tommorow. my mom told me that they opened it on wednesday, seems a lil odd that it would open and just cancell a comp like that.
 
yeah there's no comp this weekend that i know of, the pipe's supposed to be open this weekend though which is sweet
 
i wonder why they blew so much snow for it, they blew way more than other years. Usually they just blow big piles where the deck would be and shape it. This year they completely filled the transition with snow. So i wonder what they're gunna do with all that extra snow.

thats a link to their webcam. Look at that huuge pile at the bottom; they should push that all to the side of the pipe and put in a little park right next to the pipe, that'd be so sick with the rope toe.
 
maybe they want to have a good base of snow so they dont have to redo it completely when they have the US frestyle championships
 
there was supposed to be one friday and saturday, a two day comp, but that was cancelled, but it think theyre trying to make it sunday or monday
 
pipe opened saturday at like noon or so...it was decent

the right side looking down was all rutted, probs cuz of the the little kids just going down it, and the left side was actually pretty good in the middle bottom section

sunday it was better, but by noon it was all rutted again and you couldnt really get a decent air off the right side, but the left side was pretty good

the rope tow sucks tho...
