saturday was my first time back to killington in 2 weeks because i had gone out to Jackson Hole. Only to find out that they had destroyed the park on bear mtn. i didnt really care beccause i just hit some sweet cliffs in the woods on bear but does anybody know why they took the park down?

same thing happened to me on Sunday. I was pretty pissed but the pow was still great in the woods. I am also curious about this.

Just checked out their website.

  • "As of 2/26/2010 Park will be closed as we continue to dig out from a massive storm. Go ride pow until the storm is over and we can rebuild
  • Planned rebuild Monday 3/1/10 opening later in the week"

Holy shit, I was really impressed with the park on Timberline. It flowed so nice. Went to Killington for the first time in 3 years yesterday. Gonna have to get out there more often yo.

Rebuild was needed after four feet of snow just completely buried everything.

It's open and looking prime.

I saw a thread last year saying that killington did't have an end of the year park. Its going to be pretty warm this week. Anyone know what they are going to at the end of the season.

early season they had two small jumps on mouse run but a lot of sick and fun rails and a poma! the poma is probably the best part

they closed the stash today, dreammaker was doing well still. Later in the day i didn't have enough speed for the second jump, so i would pump it. First time shredding killy since i was 8 years old and the parks were nice

Pic of Mouse Run,

Mouse Run park is open! It has 14 rail and box features. Check out our park report with pictures here: https://www.newschoolers.com/web/members/cultnews/id/4798/eid/20859/

We have multiple red barrels but yes Dream Maker and Bear Mountain have closed for the season. However, we have tons of snow in the new Mouse Run park- come check it out, you can get 7 hits in 1 run!

i wish, my season is over. Last weekend was the first time i had been to killington in 5 years and had so much fun at bear, the people seem to be a lot cooler at bear than anywhere else on the mountain. People like to talk about skiing at bear, at k1 peak people like to talk about conditions last week at killy

I called killington today and they said they've been getting destroyed with the warm weather and rain. Superstar and the beginner area might be the only things open this weekend. Anyone know if they'll have any rails or anything up for the weekend?

one lift open superstar quad superstar and top of ovation were real bumped and fun. Some people were hiking up OL theres still decent snow over there but no lift. No park at all is open, but if you like bumps its still pretty fun
