I can not really see killington opening this weekend there is now doubt there is enough snow and if its cold they can throw down mad snow from the snowmaking system but they do not have the money and it is probly not in there best interest finnacialy to open. sure all of us ina 50 mile radius will be up there but we dont make them money the rich new yorkers on vacation there do.

How many trails would tehy opean up? im guessing they would blow snow like mad on 10 trails to make an even more substantial base and try to keep those onse opean for the season. It would take more then 2 40degre days, it wont get passed the high 40s at teh summit, to melt all teh snow. otherwise it would be a huge waste of cash to blow snow with the idea of letting it melt 2 days later.
