Killington open until early May?

Think there is any chance Killington stays open until early May this year? Im pretty sure it did a few years ago when VT got alot of snow. I want to make one last trip when school is out.
 
getting a foot of snow tonight into tomorrow. Hopefully it stays cold at night and the snow will stick around. Nothing like outer limit bumps in may!
 
Given there track record they will probably just go a day or two longer then Jay and Suarloaf for bragging rights.

At that point don't expect anything more then Superstar and maybe skylark
 
don't forget about new management though, they seem to be more aggressive this year. they're still making snow as well on supestar
 
I havent been up there but I bet it will, at least for a week or so. Sugarloaf was open until May 15 two seasons ago
 
killington is going for the claim. theres a shit load of snow and the base is still building. its only a little over a month till may so id say theres a pretty good chance
 
Killi is open til 5 now and is keeping Bear mountain open as long as the snow stays. They must have made a fortune this year...
 
honestly they probably didn't make a ton of profit, what it is is the new management. the new owner of killy is actually a really cool dude and gets himself involved with the mountain, the couple of times i've gotten to chat with him he's talked about being more aggressive with snowmaking the entire year and their plan to keep it open as long as possible. i'm so stoked on it either way! definitely can't wait to get some May turns in up there
 
damn i was just gonna post this!

im pretty sure we can expect big things. they wouldnt claim june if they didnt think there was a legitimate chance of it happening
